Training & Support
Myers Tire Supply is proud of the training support we offer our sales and management teams.
Branch managers attend regional sales meetings with fellow managers and Akron staff to present business and financial projections, review business practices, and discuss regional competitive concerns. Managers are also exposed to C4 training, a 4-day curriculum of "People Skills for Managers."
New sales candidates receive a three-week "Salesperson Training Orientation Program" at the branch warehouse when hired. There are monthly sales and new product introduction meetings and regional sales meetings. After a limited time in the field, new salespeople attend the three-day "SSP" Selling Skills for Professionals training at our corporate Louis S. Myers Training Center in Akron OH. The class is a high intensity, interactive selling skills workshop.
Both Managers and salespeople attend sales presentations at select Myers Tire Supply vendor manufacturing facilities, where they are introduced to the latest, leading-edge equipment and technology in the field.
In addition to training and support, managers and the sales team qualify for business performance incentives in the form of cash or vacation destinations.
